I’m on day 6 of life with my first puppy, and just started reading this book, so can’t provide a real review although it seems promising (includes quite a bit of general training information as well as more thorough info on housetraining.)
One annoyance though: no effort has been made to make the various charts and tables readable on the kindle. It looks like table formatting has just been stripped, leaving random text scattered over several pages. So far, the tables just summarize information that is included in the body text, so it’s not a huge deal.
In other kindle books I’ve purchased, charts or tables are inserted in an image format, which creates its own problem since the text is typically quite small and can’t be enlarged via the kindle’s font size selector.
I wish that Amazon (or the publishers, which ever is responsible) would make the minimal effort to ensure that kindle editions have some usable formatting for charts and tables.

Ummm-I think the dog just has to want to do the correct thing. Good ideas in the book but it didn’t work for us, but we have 7 dogs.

The Housetraining for Dummies Book was really a big help to me in housetraining my Yorkie Rylee. They say Yorkies are the most difficult to train but with my patience and the guidance in the book, I think we are almost there!

Book arrived as described. It was in excellent condition and arrived in a timely manner. I don’t have my dog housetrained entirely but he enjoyed chewing on the book!

When we got our beagle, we found ourselves in new territory and needed to learn a lot of tricks fast!
This book helped us to learn about every aspect of housetraining. We learned that it is a very important part of getting along with the dog on a daily basis. Especially happy was I to discover extra information on subjects not expected to be covered in this book, like cooking for your dog.
